Root to Rise: Standing Poses, Handstand basics & Backbends 9-12:30pm Sunday-March 11

With lightness and groundedness, playfully explore the basics of handstand and backbends. All poses will be taught developmentally with modifications and advanced variations so each person can work at their optimal place.

Take the Seat of your Self: Hip Openers, Forward bends & Twists 2:30-5:00pm Sunday-March 11, 2007

Release deep-seated tensions in the hips; find calm vitality and inner balance. Deepen your capacity to sit in the dignity of your self as you open the lower body. Opening our hips and spine creates a great sense of power and freedom.

Ann Greene, a certified Anusara Yoga teacher, leads workshops internationally. She offers a balance of light-heartedness, physical challenge, mental focus, and emotional sensitivity. Ann creates a supportive environment for each student to feel loved and connected to a greater spirit. She and her husband, Todd Norian, co-teach Anusara Yoga workshops and Immersions.
