Kim Chandler is the founder and director of Innerlight Center for Yoga in Middletown, RI and also was the founding director of the Innerlight School for Yoga in Portland, Maine. A former resident of the Kripalu Center, she has directed Yoga Teacher Training courses at Kripalu and has been a certified Kripalu Yoga Teacher Mentor since 1992. Kim was a founding member of the Kripalu Yoga Teacher Association (KYTA) and from 1993-95 was the associate director of KYTA. In 2002 she co-directed the international Kripalu Yoga Teachers Conference in Lenox, MA. She is adjunct staff at Kripalu, presenting several programs each year, most recently Come As You Are: A Yoga Retreat for All Levels and Mind In Motion: Yoga and Proprioceptive Writing. In addition, Kim has been an Outward Bound course director and has founded and directed several alternate schools in Maine. Kim has been influenced by a variety of traditions; for several years her interest has been focused on the practice of Anusara Yoga.

Mary Pat (M.P.) Murphy E.R.Y.T 500 is the Director/Owner of Namaste Yoga Studio in Richfield Oh. MP has practiced yoga for many years, occasionally sidetracking to other sports including marathon running, cycling and weight lifting.A cycling accident turned out to be my invitation to return to yoga. I really hurt my shoulder when I crashed, but that ended up being a gift. At about the same time my mother had a stroke and my life felt very challenging. I really needed the physical, emotional, spiritual and therapeutic benefits of yoga. I began to study yoga very seriously and found my primary teacher, nationally acclaimed Certified Anusara Yoga teacher, Todd Norian.

M.P. is certified through Todds Hatha Yoga- Anusara Inspired Teacher Training program and continues her studies with him several times each year. She has been a student of Todds practicing Anusara yoga since 2001. She has completed Anusara Yoga Teacher Training Level 1 and Yoga Therapeutics with John Friend. She has also studied with Richard Freeman, and has completed Rodney Yees five day Teacher Training Program.

Her love for the Anusara yoga system has led her to continue her studies with Certified Anusara teachers, Jamie Allison, Jenny Otto, Anne Green. In the past two years, she has studied Yoga Therapeutics with Doug Keller. M.P. is a Certified Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist and is also certified through TRY for Life Hatha Yoga Teacher Training. She is also a Reiki Practitioner.

M.P. blends her abundant energy and joy for life with principles of alignment to create classes that help open body, mind and spirit. Yoga helps us learn to let go, to breathe, to laugh and really honor one's self. Yoga, for me, is really a celebration of life. I love the practice and am so grateful that I can share this practice with others. I am especially grateful to all my teachers, especially Todd Norian."

Janne (pronounced Yanna) Sahady is a senior teacher at Innerlight Center for Yoga, co-director and co-developer of the Innerlight Yoga Teacher Training program, and a yoga teacher for the Newport Hospital Enough Is Enough program. She is a Yoga Alliance E-RYT 200 with 1000 hours of teaching experience. She has taught yoga in yoga studios, homes, schools, barns, parks, businesses and conventions. Yoga is my gift from the universe. Or at least that is the way it feels to me. Innerlight opened just when I had time in my life to begin to take classes. My first teachers were Kim Chandler and Tom Gillette. They introduced me to Kripalu and Ashtanga yoga with extraordinary experience and knowledge and loving support in my first yoga classes and first teacher training. Her training includes a 500-hour course at Innerlight (1998) and a 400-hour Anusara-based course with Todd Norian (2003). Janne has also studied with John Friend, Suzie Hurley, Doug Keller, Ann Greene, Tom Myers, David Swenson, Richard Freeman and Beryl Bender Birch. She has assisted in many programs at Kripalu and elsewhere, including Introduction to Yoga and Meditation, Rebalancing Body, Mind and Spirit, Ashtanga Yoga, Anusara Yoga, Chakra Yoga, Partner Yoga, and Snow Shoe and Yoga.
"My experience with yoga is that it is a life changing force. Yoga develops strength and flexibility, focus and confidence and a sense of connection with a spirit greater than just me. Yoga grounds me and at the same time opens possibilities. My intention in teaching is to pass that on, that sense of living life to the fullest, vibrant, strong, and open."
Janne is currently working on getting her leg behind her head, and expects that in about five lifetimes from now, she may be close.
