How can we stay centered and open-hearted in these overwhelming times?
Come join us for a four week, in-person, series of Mindfulness Meditation talks and practices centered on the Brahmaviharas or Divine Abodes of Loving kindness, Compassion, Joy & Gratitude and Equanimity.
The Buddha described human life as “10,000 joys and 10,000 sorrows” and in today’s world those sorrows may feel overwhelming.
How can we stay centered and open-hearted in these overwhelming times?
We can come together to take refuge in the nurturing aspects of these heart practices, deepening our capacity for resilience and freedom, and lessening our sense of isolation and fear. Included in our weekly gathering will be: sitting meditation, dharma talk, and time for reflection.
Together we will cultivate these beautiful heart qualities, emphasizing ways to carry these practices into daily life, supporting more confidence, clarity and ease in facing life’s challenges.
