Karen has been enjoying a yoga practice for over 15 years. Her experience as a massage therapist, Rosen Method practitionerand dancer enhances her teaching with an awareness of anatomy, our subtle energy body, and patterns of emotional holding within the body. A 2006 graduate of Innerlight’s 200 hour training, her studies also include Yin Yoga and Mindfulness Meditation with Sarah Powers, Taoist Yoga with Pauly Zink, and Meridian Yoga with Daniel Orlanski. Karen has immersed herself in both Yin Yoga and Vinyasa Yoga, with the intention and finding a healthy balance of flexibility, strength, and stability.
I use my yoga practice as one way of becoming more present within my physical body, connected with the truth of who I am and the clarity of how to live life more authentically. Yoga is a springboard into my life which enables enthusiasm and vitality…. one of the many gifts yoga has offered me.
