Shannon designs thoughtful, lighthearted classes that aim to bring something new to yogis of all abilities and levels of experience. She can empathize with students who are flexible in mind and spirit, if not always in body, and she is committed to meeting students where they are and guiding them to where they want to be. Shannon, RYT 200, completed her vinyasa yoga teacher training with Liz Lindh and Patti Doyle at Innerlight in 2011 and has benefited from the expertise of a diverse group of yogis in over 15 years of yoga.
The idea of yoga as a practice to cultivate patience, gratitude, strength, flexibility, and balance, both on and off the mat, is a central component of her teaching style as well as her personal yoga practice.
